ALBANY, GA- Several parents spent the morning protecting their children from potential dangers.
A free biometrics child safety identification program was held at Toyota of Albany.
More than 40 children lined up to have their fingerprints and pictures taken, which will help the FBI find the child if they were to go missing.
"Unfortunately there's a lot of cases with missing children and with this, it helps law enforcement be able to track the children better and faster," says Antonio Rodriguez, Event Coordinator.
There is no record kept on file, but in case of emergency this information can quickly be presented to law enforcement nationwide.
Parents are given a DNA identification kit to take home. Toyota of Albany and WALB sponsored this event.
