ALBANY, GA - The Albany Mall has donated $3,000 to the Albany Museum of Art. The donation will help maintain the free membership at the Albany Museum of Art.

“We are thrilled to begin a fantastic partnership with one of the region’s well-established non-profits,” said Belk Store Manager Derek Stokes.

ALBANY, GA – The Flint RiverQuarium and the Thronateeska Heritage Center will host the Tricks & Treats event Friday, October 26 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Everyone is invited and it will be $6 to get in without a costume and $8 without a costume.

The Albany High School Marching Chiefs performed at the annual Hawkinsville Invitational Festival on September 29. Bands at this event are judged in the areas of Band, Flags, and Drumline.

The Marching Chiefs scored superior ratings, the highest possible, in each of the three categories.

The Marching Chiefs will continue in competition against some of Georgia's best bands on October 13 in Blackshear at the Sound of Silver Invitational.
