DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA – News release from Georgia Department of Transportation

The Georgia Department of Transportation announced operational improvements are tentatively scheduled to be made to the intersection of U.S. 19/S.R. 3 and Nelms Road between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, weather permitting.

Traffic Operations and Maintenance Crews for the Georgia DOT will be making improvements to the intersection of U.S. 19/S.R. 3 and Nelms Road.

These intersection improvements will include the following;

When: 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday, June 4 and Tuesday, June 5.
Where: S.R. 234 in Dougherty County.
What: Georgia DOT maintenance crews have scheduled mowing on S.R. 234 in Dougherty County.
Work is tentatively scheduled between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday, June 4 and Tuesday, June 5, weather permitting.  
Motorists should reduce their speed in these and all work zones.
